The Chirisbino Arcanes: Structure and Archetypes

The Order of CHIRISBIN was never an ordinary sect, nor a cult of the masses. It operated in small circles of power, composed of initiates from various backgrounds: warriors, seers, monks, healers, druids, and defectors from other faiths.

The Veiled Hierarchy: The Structure of the Arcanes

1. The Veil Circle (The 7 Arcanes)

At the top of the order stood the Seven Chirisbino Arcanes, also known simply as "Those of the Veil".
Each one embodied an aspect of the natural and spiritual world:

  • The Blade Keeper (linked to war and protection – associated with the myth of Excalibur)

  • The Mist Weaver (associated with fate, oracles, and the manipulation of lunar cycles)

  • The Watcher of Shadows (master of secrets, escape, and invisible strategies)

  • The Voice of the Earth (connected to fertility rites, harvests, and harmony with nature)

  • The Name Bearer (the only one authorized to pronounce CHIRISBIN in its full power)

  • The Lady of Tides (controller of collective emotions, festivals, and great public rites)

  • The Gate Conductor (responsible for spiritual journeys and crossings between worlds)

2. The Lower Ranks (The Circulated Ones)

Below the Arcanes were the Circulated Ones, initiates who had completed at least three major rites:

  • Rite of Shadow (acceptance of symbolic death and rebirth)

  • Rite of Stone and Blood (physical and spiritual trial at sacred sites like Glastonbury, Stonehenge, or the Caves of York)

  • Rite of the Silent Voice (the eternal vow of secrecy about the teachings of the Order)

3. The Whisperers

These were the novices, apprentices, messengers, and spies. They lived among common people, unseen, blending in as bards, healers, soldiers, and even priests.

Secret Doctrine (Elements of Chirisbino Philosophy)

Three Unwritten Truths:

  • "All that is seen is veil."

  • "Every sword is also a seal."

  • "Every true name is a portal."

CHIRISBIN as a Verb

The word is not merely a name. It is a ritual verb — a forbidden intonation that opens passages, dissolves illusions, or invokes the destruction of material bonds.

The Hidden Portals

There are locations in Brittany and Northern Europe where the Order believes permanent rifts between worlds exist.
Each Arcane is responsible for one of these sacred sites.

Rituals and Marks

Marks of Blood and Earth:
Each Chirisbino, upon initiation, received a subtle mark on the inside of the forearm, made from a mixture of oak blood, ash, and sacred earth.

Use of Masks:
During the most dangerous rituals, the Arcanes wore carved wooden masks. The Circulated wore tattered-hooded cloaks, and the Whisperers kept their faces hidden for at least one year.

Connections with Real History

Modern scholars suggest that the mythical figure of Merlin may have been a Name Bearer, moving among the power circles of Rome and the Celtic peoples.
Others claim that Ivar the Boneless, the Viking leader, encountered Chirisbinos during his voyages to the British Isles, exchanging runic knowledge for prophecies.
Some even believe that Bede the Venerable knew of the Order's existence and left encoded clues in his chronicles.
